My research interests lie in using empirical and historical methods to study the causes and consequences of housing inequality.

I work as a research intern on a project studying the impact of federal slum clearance policies and eminent domain under Professors John Eric Humphries, Winnie van Dijk, and Ingrid Gould Ellen.

Last summer, I researched demand- and supply-side federal, state, and local housing programs in New York at the NYU Furman Center. I also contributed to policy briefs on joint development, emergency rental assistance, and employer-assisted housing for the Housing Solutions Lab.

In the past, I worked as an architecture intern at Apicella + Bunton Architects and as a research assistant for Professor Elihu Rubin to study the architecture of post-industrial cities.

I am currently writing my year-long senior thesis on the design and financing of public housing in New Haven, supported by the generous Alexander P. Hixon Fellowship.
